Nord Sud floor lamp version combines finesse and robustness by the contrast between the thin aluminum tube and the heavy marble base. The integrated led module is invisible. The light beam is directed towards the opal polycarbonate diffuser which closes the top of the adjustable shade. The role of the diffuser is twofold: on the one hand it diffuses the light upwards, on the other hand it reflects part of the light beam downwards to act as a reading light, without the light source being either visible or dazzling.
